DRAFT Minutes of Meeting

 

Attendees: Jason Kuhn, Ed Smith, Linda Morse, Kris Haupt , Norm Illsley

Jason Kuhn called the meeting to order at 7:02pm

 

  1. Jason Kuhn submitted his resignation letter from the Cemetery Commission. This will be kept on file. It was agreed that the Commission should talk to the Select Board about the vacancy.
  2. Minutes for May 20176 meeting – Acceptance moved and approved
  3. Old business:
    – Responsibility for repairing broken stones will be Ed.
    –  Updates on Braintree Hill Cemetery – tree issue –  done; Artemis stone – done
  4. New business:
    – Carter stone in Braintree Hill is missing the top finial – Kris will look into it
    – Billing for flags in 2018 by Clayt Butterfield – not done yet
  5. Town insurance coverage for Cemetery Commission members – Linda will look into it with the Town

 

  1. Other business:
    – Ed will make sure that the mowing will be done before July 4th

  2. Next meeting– July 11, (note that this is the second Wednesday, due to July 4th on the 1st Wed. )
