Zoning Administration
On December 16, 2025, the Braintree Selectboard held a Hearing prior to their regularly scheduled Selectboard Meeting. This Public Hearing was to review the Draft Zoning Bylaws. During the subsequent Selectboard Meeting, the Draft Zoning Bylaws were adopted by the Braintree Selectboard and were effective starting January 6, 2026.

Zoning Fee Schedule (as of August 5, 2025)
Zoning Permit fee no longer includes Certificate of Occupancy. The applicant will talk with the Zoning Administrator to determine if a Certificate of Occupancy is required, if required the fee for the CO will be added to the final cost of the application. All Zoning fees include recording fees but does not include recoding fee for filing of subdivision plat. Additional recording fees are the responsibility of the applicant/ permittee.
