Pay by Cash, Check, Debit or Credit Card

Property taxes for the 2025-2026 tax year are due in two installments: October 15, 2025 and March 16, 2026.

All payments will be applied to the oldest outstanding tax first. Payment may be made by cash, check, debit or credit card. A fee, which varies by card type, will be applied for paying by card (Visa and MC only). See our Terms and Conditions.

Once you begin the process of paying by debit/credit card (below), you’ll be taken to the ©2014 Noble Payment Technologies, LLC website, “Secure Payments Powered by NOBLE,” which is working in partnership, but is not affiliated, with the Town of Braintree.

To pay by debit/credit card (Visa and MC only), make sure you have the following information:

• Property parcel number and/or name related to the payment you are making.
• Amount ($) you are paying.

• For debit/credit card payments (Visa and MC only), you’ll need the name listed on the card, card account number, expiration date, and the security code on the back of the card.

• If you opt to use the NOBLE on-line payment process, you will be automatically charged a processing fee based on the type of debit or credit card being used. For example, a $100.00 payment could have a processing fee of $0.90 for a total payment equal to $100.90. The Town does not charge or receive compensation for your use of the service.
